JOB TITLE: OFFICE MANAGER

Duties & Responsibilities: The office manager will plan work schedules, assign tasks and delegate responsibilities, liaise the client's meeting with the relevant legal advisor, advise on the handling of all correspondence and enquiries relating to accounts, clients, statistical and other legal records;Ensures that procedures for considering, issuing, amending and endorsing firm policies are adhered to; Plans,organises and co-ordinates the activities and resources of other offices not elsewhere classified.

Pay: £26500.00 / Annum ( Depending on Experience)

Working Hours: 37.50 / Week


JOB TITLE: ADVOCATE / SOLICITOR

Details of duties: Attending the clients, assisting barristers in complex matters and representing the client in courts of law in UK & Overseas.

ABOUT YOU

The suitable candidates are required to have excellent communication skills, Good academic record, be well versed in Civil and Family Law, have at least 2 years or over PQE, have a practising licence as an Advocate High / Supreme Courts, have proven track record of successfully pleaded their clients’ case in the courts of law, having enrolled as an advocate with the relevant professional bodies, having a law degree from a recognised university.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Excellent oral and written English communications skills, including superior presentation, reviewing and drafting.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
  • Ability to demonstrate a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in Construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for identifying any legal risks and threats to the business.
  • Aiding and advising the Directors and senior management with legal advice and guidance on various areas of UK and international Law
  • Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing company communications.
  • Reviewing and updating commercial contracts and company literature.
  • Experienced with development work.
  • Effectively communicating with Directors, senior management and any external third parties.
  • Monitoring and advising of legislative changes and case-law affecting the conduct of the company's business
  • Identify applicable laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Under the supervision of counsel, negotiation of contracts and terms with client organisations and their advisors.
  • Legal research.
  • Helping prepare guidance notes for the business on risk, legal and commercial issues and assisting with compliance and risk training.
  • Assistance with contentious matters.

Based in our stunning office, just a short walk from Ilford train station. For this role, you’ll need to be on-site with the team most of the time, with opportunities for remote working where practical. We're happy to consider full-time hours only, and incorporate a degree of flexibility into either arrangement.
